Challenge
The lack of transparency in communication repeatedly lead to gaps in the knowledge sharing between active stakeholders. Therefore, a uniform communications structure between customers and business partners had to be established. Among other things, the system should also contain information on delivery data and guarantee more transparency in all business processes. One key challenge to overcome was the lack of visibility of product availabilities.Our solution
One key objective, in parallel to establishing centralised IT services, was to establish a modern, EDI-based communications concept for EU-wide business processes, allowing members to access the data of a common database anywhere in Europe. compacer was tasked with developing, implementing and operating a fully integrated B2B business platform for the network of companies. In addition to the EDI component with its integrated supplier onboarding portal, the solution was to include an e-Invoicing platform. The e-Invoicing platform was to provide e-Billing, signed PDF, e-mail distribution and ZUGFeRD capabilities.Volumes converted per year
