Herrenberg, 20 March 2024 - Port Integration Day 2024, organised by compacer, proved to be a ground-breaking event that brought together leading experts from the global port logistics industry. More than eight countries were represented and participants discussed the value of data, artificial intelligence and innovative solutions.
The two-day event, held on 28 and 29 February at the Hotel Gasthof Hasen in Herrenberg, offered a packed agenda of inspiring presentations, discussions and networking opportunities.
The first day began with a warm welcome from Volker Hettich, followed by a presentation on 'Artificial Intelligence in Logistics'. New updates on edbic and edpem, Compacer's process monitoring and integration solutions, were then presented. A short break was followed by port pitches from various partners such as Tallinn, Trieste, Odessa and others, outlining future developments in the industry.
The second day started with a keynote speech by Lumir Boureanu on 'The value of data: How BI and AI are changing the way we look at our business'. Customs and the Port Community System were also on the agenda.
The highlight of the event were the partner presentations, where projects and experiences related to edbic and edpem were presented. The presentations provided insights into the successful implementation of these solutions and highlighted the potential for future projects.
